Star 4YO Mare Benedetta Shines Under Jamie Kah's Masterful Ride: A Triumph for Brenton and Liz Parker of Mill Park Stud

In an exhilarating display of skill and determination, star 4YO mare Benedetta, expertly ridden by star jockey Jamie Kah, has secured her place as the second Group 1 winner bred by Brenton and Liz Parker and raised at the renowned Mill Park Stud. This remarkable achievement was highlighted in the SATB Newsletter, May 2024 edition.

Brenton Parker celebrated his inaugural Group 1 victory as an owner, having retained a share in Benedetta when she was sold by Mill Park Stud at the 2021 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale for $75,000 to Eales Racing Syndications.

As both breeder and part-owner of this elite race mare, Brenton and Liz Parker are relishing every moment of Benedetta's success. They proudly own the dam, making her one of the most valuable race mares in the country. Benedetta is out of the Domesday mare, Whatalovelyday, purchased by Adrian Hancock on behalf of Brenton Parker.

Continuing their legacy, Mill Park Stud sold Benedetta’s yearling half-brother at this year’s Melbourne Premier Sale for an impressive $160,000. This milestone further solidifies Mill Park Stud's reputation for producing top-tier racehorses that excel on the track.

For more updates on Benedetta and other success stories from Mill Park Stud, be sure to read the SATB Newsletter, May 2024 edition.
